Hannah Martin

An alchemist with a genuine passion for jewels that were ostentatiously shown, described by Voltaire as a man “who knows everything and who never dies”, the 18th Century German occultist Comte Saint-Germain was the starting point for Hannah Martin to go deeper into the ample symbolic resources of the alchemical tradition. Alchemy and masonry symbols which created a very peculiar and interesting aesthetic mix when embedded in imagery of the London underground rock and punk scene. It is actually very rare to see 18 Carat gold, sapphires and rubies appear under such sexy, seductive and subversively luxurious design proposals as in Hannah’s collections. Strongly sharp and masculine, the brand is described by her as “jewellery for men that girlfriends will steal”. Amusingly said, to contrast with the decisive character of  her work.
